Are youlow on fuel? Oil Pressure Light Your vehicle is equipped with an oil pressure warning light. Your oil pressure indicator lets you know when you may havea problem with your engine oil pressure. As your engine starts to run out of fuel, your engine may not run asefficiently as designed since small amountsof a r are suckedinto the fuel line causing a misfire. The i system candetect this. Adding fuel should correctthis condition. Make sure install the fuel cap properly. It to will take a few drivingtrips to turn the light off. Have you recently changed brands fuel? of If so, be sureto fuelyour vehicle with quality (see fuel "Fuel" in theIndex). Poor fuel quality will cause your engine not to run as efficiently as designed.You may notice this as stalling after start-up, stalling when you on put the vehicle into gear, misfiring, hesitation acceleration or stumbling on acceleration.(These conditions may go away once the engine is warmed up.) This will be detected by the system and cause the light to turn on.
