You should use the automatic IP configuration method if: ■ your network uses DHCP to allocate IP information ■ the switch is deployed on a different subnet. In this case, the switch will automatically reconfigure itself with an appropriate IP address, rather than you having to manually reconfigure the switch. the switch is deployed on a different subnet. In this case, the switch
