3M™ MicroTouch™ Display M1700SS User Guide 23 Installing Touch Software A 3M™ MicroTouch™ touch driver is required to operate your M1700SS Display. To enhance your touch experience, refer to the MT 7 Software User Guide for complete instructions. These drivers and relevant technical documentation can be found on the enclosed 3M Touch Solutions CD (31197) and are also available for download from our website at www.3Mtouch.com. After the software is installed, restart your computer to load and activate the touch driver. The Touch Solutions CD includes the touch driver and control panel that enable your touch sensor to work with your computer. When you install the CD included with your display, MT 7 Software will be automatically loaded on your system. MT 7 software provides touch drivers for Windows™ Vista, Windows™ XP, and Windows™ 2000. For older systems, software is provided on the CD - select the Browse CD option to enable you to load legacy touch software for Windows™ NT 4.0, Windows™ 95 or 98, or Windows™ Me. Because these are legacy systems, make sure to install the TouchWare software before connecting the USB touch sensor cable to your system. To complete the setup of your touch display, make sure you calibrate the touch sensor.

Installing Touch Software
A 3M™ MicroTouch™ touch driver is required to operate your M1700SS Display. To
enhance your touch experience, refer to the
MT 7 Software User Guide
for complete
instructions.
