This setting is made on the TV screen. Press the FMT. button. Each press of the button changes the frequency by 0.1 MHz step. Select a frequency which does not exhibit interference with a local FM station. Turn on the FM radio and select the FM mode. 3 Tune in the FM car radio frequency. Tune in the frequency which gives the best sound near the frequency set in the step 1 . Notes: • A frequency between 87.5 MHz and 88.4 MHz can be selected. • Lower the volume of the monitor and adjust the sound level with the sound control of the radio. • When tuning in the FM frequency, the autoseek function may not always stop on the correct frequency. In these cases, tune in the frequency manually. • Changes in temperature could cause the frequency to drift. In such cases, you may hear a slightly distorted audio. Retune the frequency to eliminate the distortion. • The effective distance of the FM transmitter is about 1.5m (5 feet). Make sure the transmitter's antenna is within 1.5m of the FM receiver's antenna for best performance. 14
