5.4.4 PCIPnP The items in this menu show the PCIPnP configuration settings. Select an item then press to display a pop-up menu with the configuration options. PCIPnP Plug & Play O/S Resources Controlled By x IRQ Resources PCI/VGA Palette Snoop Assign IRQ for VGA [No] [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled] Select Menu Item Specific Help Plug & Play OS [No] Select [Yes] if you are using a Plug and Play capable operating system. Select [No] if you need the BIOS to configure non-boot devices. Configuration options: [No] [Yes] Resources Controlled By [Auto] When set to [Auto], this allows the BIOS to automatically configure all the boot and Plug and Play devices. When set to [Manual], you can assign the available IRQ resources to the PCI devices. Configuration options: [Auto] [Manual] When the item R e s o u r c e s C o n t r o l l e d B y is set to [Auto], the item IRQ Resources is grayed out and not user-configurable. PCI/VGA Palette Snoop [Disabled] Some non-standard VGA cards, like graphics accelerators or MPEG video cards, may not show colors properly. Setting this field to [Enabled] corrects this problem. If you are using standard VGA cards, leave this field to the default setting [Disabled]. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Assign IRQ VGA [Enabled] Allows you to enable or disable the option to assign an IRQ for the onboard VGA.
