General Information Status LED indications 1 The Status LED (light emitting diode) is a light that shows the status of the machine, as shown in the table. Off Cover open Red Ink empty Paper error Other messages The cover is open. Close the cover. (See Error messages on page 67.) Replace the Ink cartridge with a new one. (See Replacing the ink cartridges on page 72.) Put paper in the tray or clear the paper jam. Check the LCD message. (See Error messages on page 67.) Check the LCD message. Printing Reports 1 The following reports are available: 1 „ Help List A help list about how to quickly program your machine. „ User Settings Lists your settings. „ Network config (DCP-540CN only) Lists your Network settings. How to print a report 1 a Press Menu. b Press a or b to choose Print Reports. Press OK. c Press a or b to choose the report you want. Press OK. d Press Black Start. 9
