Before Using the Machine 1 Document and Paper 2 Sending and Receiving 3 Copying 4 Printing 5 System Manager Settings 6 Maintenance 7 Troubleshooting 8 Appendix 9 Advanced Features The machine provides the following additional fax modes: broadcasting, delayed sending, polling, and relay. ˙ Broadcasting Broadcasting enables you to send the same document to multiple recipients. - A maximum of 131 recipients can be specified at the same time. (Out of the 131 recipients, a maximum of 16 recipients can be specified with the numeric keys.) If you specify a group, which is made up of several recipients, each recipient in the group is counted as a separate dialing. - If you frequently send documents to multiple recipients, it is recommended that you store those recipients as a group. 1. Set documents. 2. Press [Add. Mode]. 3. Press [ ] or [ ] to select , then press [OK]. Back Previous Next TOP 4. Specify the destination. Use the numeric keys, one touch speed dialing keys, coded speed dialing codes or [Address Book] key to specify recipients. Be sure to press [OK] after entering the recipient's number if you use the numeric keys. You can enter up to 16 different fax numbers using the numeric keys. 5. Repeat step 4 to enter all required destinations. To check all the specified destinations, press [ ] or [ ] to scroll the display. 6. Press [Start]. ˙ Delayed Sending Delayed sending enables you to start transmission at a specified time. You can combine other fax features with delayed sending. 1. Set documents. 2. Press [Add.Mode].
