Changing the Metering Mode You can change the brightness metering mode to match the shot you want to take. Evaluative Center Weighted Avg. Spot Select the metering mode. ● Press the m button, then use the op buttons to select . Select a menu item. ● Press the qr buttons to select a menu item, then press the m button. Suitable for standard shooting conditions, including back lit shots. Automatically adjusts the exposure so that the subject is always properly lit for the shooting conditions. Once the focus is locked, it remains locked even if you let go of the shutter button.
