Installing SFP Modules Chapter 3 Installing the ASA 5550 Installing an SFP Module To install an SFP module in a fiber port in Slot 1, perform the following steps: Step 1 Line up the SFP module with the port and slide the SFP module into the port slot until it locks into position as shown in Figure 3-4.
