Running a Calibration 1. Insert the battery pack into the computer battery bay or MultiBay. Then connect the computer to external power through the AC Adapter, and optional docking base that is connected to external power, or an optional Automobile Power Adapter/Charger. 2. In Windows 95 select Start!Settings!Control Panel! Power icon!Battery Calibration tab. In Windows 98 select Start!Settings!Control Panel! Power Management icon!Battery Calibration tab. In Windows NT 4.0 select Start!Settings!Control Panel! Compaq Power icon!Battery Calibration tab. In Windows 2000 Professional select Start!Settings! Control Panel!Power Options icon!Compaq Power tab. 3. Select a location number that shows "Needs calibration." 4. Select the button that starts calibration. Stopping a Calibration Shut down the computer or select the button that stops calibration. 4-12 Managing Power
