NOTICE: To avoid ESD, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by touching an unpainted metal surface on the computer. NOTICE: Read "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer" before performing the following procedure. 1. Remove the keyboard. 2. Remove the display assembly. 3. Remove the display bezel. 4. Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws on the left side of the display panel. 5. Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws on the right side of the display panel. 6. Remove the M2.5 x 5-mm screw that secures the display-feed flex cable to the display assembly. 7. Removing the 15-Inch Display Panel
NOTICE:
Disconnect the computer and any attached devices from electrical outlets, and
remove any installed battery.
NOTICE:
To avoid ESD, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by touching
an unpainted metal surface on the computer.
NOTICE:
Read "
Preparing to Work Inside the Computer
" before performing the following
procedure.
1.
Remove the
keyboard
.
2.
Remove the
display assembly
.
3.
Remove the
display bezel
.
4.
Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws on the left side of the display panel.
5.
Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws on the right side of the display panel.
6.
Remove the M2.5 x 5-mm screw that secures the display-feed flex cable to the display
assembly.
7.
Unsnap the flex-cable retention bracket from the top cover, and lift the bracket out of the
display assembly.
