Procedure 1 Close the display, and turn the computer over. 2 Turn the system badge over and remove the two screws (M2x8.5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly. 3 Remove the 10 screws (M2x3 T5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly. Procedure
1
Close the display, and turn the computer over.

Turn the system badge over and remove the two screws (M2x8.5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.
3
Remove the 10 screws (M2x3 T5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.
