CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program's settings to default. It is recommended that you note the BIOS setup program's settings before removing the coin-cell battery. Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length). 3 Remove the memory modules. 4 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 4 in "Removing the hard drive". 5 Remove the solid-state drive (half-length) or the solid-state drive (full-length). 6 Remove the wireless card. 7 Remove the fans. 8 Remove the heat sink. 9 Remove the system-board assembly. Procedure 1 Turn the system-board assembly over. 2 Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board. 3 Note the location of the coin-cell battery and pry it off the system board. Remove the

Procedure
1
Turn the system-board assembly over.
2
Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.
3
Note the location of the coin-cell battery and pry it
off
the system board.
