Procedure 1 Place the palm-rest assembly at the edge of the table with the speakers facing away from the edge. 2 Align the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly with the screw holes on the display hinges. 3 Replace the six screws (M2.5x5) that secure the display assembly to the palm-rest assembly. 4 Turn the computer over and open the display at an angle of 90 degrees. 5 Adhere the tape that secures the touch-screen cable to the system board if applicable. 6 Adhere the tape and connect the touch-screen cable to the system board if applicable. 7 Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the system board. 8 Route the display cable through the routing guides on the left fan. NOTE: When routing the display cable, make sure that the cable is not routed over the screw hole on the left fan. 9 Replace the screw (M2x2) that secures the display-cable bracket to the system board. Post-requisites 1 Replace the wireless card. 2 Replace the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length). 3 Replace the base cover. 64 Replacing the display assembly

Procedure
1
Place the palm-rest assembly at the edge of the table with the speakers facing away from the edge.

Align the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly with the screw holes on the display hinges.
3
Replace the six screws (M2.5x5) that secure the display assembly to the palm-rest assembly.
4
Turn the computer over and open the display at an angle of 90 degrees.

Adhere the tape that secures the touch-screen cable to the system board if applicable.

Adhere the tape and connect the touch-screen cable to the system board if applicable.

Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.
8
Route the display cable through the routing guides on the left fan.
NOTE:
When routing the display cable, make sure that the cable is not routed over the screw hole on the left fan.

Replace the screw (M2x2) that secures the display-cable bracket to the system board.
