Reset/WPS button for 10 seconds, until the Power LED ( ) goes out. The Reset/WPS button is located on the front panel of the device. III-9. Upgrade The access point's upgrade feature allows you to update the system firmware to a more recent version. You can download the latest firmware from the Edimax website. Selecting "Upgrade" from the menu on the left side will bring you to the following screen. Note: Do not turn off or disconnect the access point during a firmware upgrade, as this could damage the device. Note: It is recommended that you use a wired Ethernet connection to upload the firmware file. Click on the browse button to open a window and locate the downloaded firmware file. Confirm your selection and click "APPLY". A firmware upgrade may take several minutes. The following message will appear: 64
