Microwave Service Call Check 75 Please check the following before calling for service: Place one cup of water in a glass measuring cup in the oven and close the door securely. Operate the oven for one minute at HIGH 100%. A Does the oven light come on? B Does the cooling fan work? (Put your hand over the front ventilating openings.) YES ____ NO ____ YES ____ NO ____ C Is the water in the oven warm? YES ____ NO ____ If "NO" is the answer to any of the above questions, please check electrical outlet, fuse and/ or circuit breaker. If they are functioning properly, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST ELECTROLUX AUTHORIZED SERVICER. A microwave oven should never be serviced by a "do-it-yourself" repair person. NOTE If time appearing in the display is counting down very rapidly, check Demonstration Mode and cancel. Demonstration mode To demonstrate, touch set clock, the number 0 and then touch the START pad and hold for three seconds. DEMO ON will appear in the display. Cooking operations and specific special features can now be demonstrated with no power in the oven. For example, touch add 30 seconds pad and the display will show :30 and count down quickly to END. To cancel, touch set clock, the number 0 and STOP/ CLEAR pads. If easier, unplug the oven from the electrical outlet and replug.
