8. Make the following settings: ■ Set the mode to Automatic. It's the easiest way to get good printing results on all types of paper. ■ Choose the Media Type for your paper. If you're not sure which setting to select, see page 33. ■ For Ink, select Color to print color documents and black and white photographs, or Black to print grayscale or black text documents. Note: The Automatic setting for Mode gives you the best combination of quality and speed for most prints. For the highest print quality (Photo RPM) on selected papers, click Advanced Settings. See "Customizing Macintosh Print Settings" on page 31 for instructions on selecting Photo RPM. 9.
