Using the Internal Web Pages
The AXIS 1440 Print Server has web pages stored in its memory,
which you can access using any standard web browser. If your network
supports TCP/IP, you can use these internal web pages to configure,
manage, view printer status, and obtain other useful information
about the AXIS 1440.
Note:
Before you can use the AXIS 1440 on a TCP/IP network, you
must first assign it a valid Internet address. See
Configuring the
Print Server for TCP/IP
on page 23.
Accessing the Web
Pages
Follow these steps to access the internal AXIS 1440 Home Page. (The
browser used in the following example is Netscape
Communicator 4.3.)

Start your Web browser.

From the File menu, select Open Page... The Open Page dialog
box appears.
