Chapter 5 Installing the Printer Driver 5 To print to the network printer, you need to install the printer 5 driver on the computer. See the section in this chapter appropriate for your operating system. 5 Windows Me/98/95 5 5 For Windows Me/98/95, the printer driver installation procedure differs depending on the printing method you prefer. LPR printing 5 Since Windows Me/98/95 does not support LPR, standard TCP/IP printing cannot be used. However, you can print via 5 TCP/IP using the EpsonNet Direct Print utility included on the 5 Software CD-ROM. First, install EpsonNet Direct Print. Then, install the printer driver. See "About EpsonNet Direct Print" on page 171 for more details. 5 Internet printing (Windows 98/95) 5 Internet printing is possible by using the EpsonNet Internet Print utility included on the Software CD-ROM. First, install EpsonNet 5 Internet Print. Then, install the printer driver and set the printer port.
