Note: Do not use Novell Client for Windows 95/98 version 3.00 and Novell Client for Windows NT version 4.50 when using the 1 following modes: NetWare 3.x/4.x Bindery Print Server mode, 1 NetWare 3.x Remote Printer mode, NetWare 4.x Bindery Remote Printer mode, and NetWare 4.x/5.x NDS Remote Printer mode. 1 The following table lists the components required for network printing. Printing method LPR or Internet printing Necessary components TCP/IP 1 Microsoft Network Shared TCP/IP or NetBEUI printing Client for Microsoft Networks 1 Printing via NetWare server Latest Novell Client downloaded from the Novell Web site 1 3. If the necessary components are not in the list, click Add to install them, as described below. 1 For LPR or Internet printing: Select Protocol and then click Add. Select Microsoft from the Manufacturers list and TCP/IP from the Network Protocols list. Then click OK. 1 1 For Microsoft Network Shared printing: Select Protocol and then click Add. Select Microsoft from the Manufacturers list and TCP/IP from the Network Protocols list. Then click OK. 1 To use NetBEUI, select Protocol and then click Add. Select 1 Microsoft from the Manufacturers list and NetBEUI from the Network Protocols list. Then click OK. Select Client and then click Add.
