When you select Automatic, an IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway are 3 automatically assigned by the DHCP server. Set using Automatic Private IP Addressing (APIPA) Set using PING IP Address Subnet Mask Note: If the Dynamic DNS function is not supported, we 3 recommend that you select Manual and then enter an IP address. This is because if you select Automatic, the IP address of the print server changes every time you turn on the printer so 3 that you need to change the printer port setting accordingly.
