Maintenance Consumable replacement periods Air filter replacement period If the air filter has been broken or the "Replace" message is displayed even though the air filter has been cleaned. Replace with an optional air filter. "Replacing the air filter" p.42 Lamp replacement period • The message "Replace the lamp." appears on the screen when projection starts. A message will be displayed. • The projected images get darker or start to deteriorate. • The replacement warning message is set to appear after a minimum of about 1900 hours of lamp use in order to maintain the initial brightness and quality of the projected images. The time taken for the message to appear will vary depending on TIP usage conditions such as Color Mode settings. If you continue to use the lamp after this period, the possibility of the lamp breaking becomes greater. When the lamp replacement message appears, replace the lamp with a new one as soon as possible, even if it is still working. • Depending on the characteristics of the lamp and on the way it has been used, the lamp may become darker or stop working before the lamp warning message appears. You should always have a spare lamp ready in case it is needed. • Contact your dealer for a spare lamp. 41 Appendix

Air filter replacement period
