Warning: Never look into the projector lens when the lamp is on. This can damage your eyes and is especially dangerous for children. If you do not see a projected image right away, try the following: • Turn on the connected computer or video device. • Insert a DVD or other video media and press the play button, if necessary. • Press the Source button on the projector to detect the video source, or press a source button on the remote control. Note: Turn off this product when not in use to prolong the life of the projector. Lamp life will vary depending upon mode selected, environmental conditions, and usage. Brightness decreases over time. Note: When using the A/V Mute feature, the projector lamp is still on. To turn off the lamp, turn off the projector. 1. Do one of the following: • Press the power button on the projector. When you see the confirmation screen, press the power button again or press any other button to leave the projector on. • Press the Standby button on the remote control. The lamp and the Status light turns off. 50
