Setting mode (continued) Preheating setting PrHEAT>*** 10MHz OUT connector 1 output setting 10M_1>*** Use to turn ON/OFF preheating when the unit is off. Use to set the output for the 10MHz OUT 1 connector. oo Due to the nature of the crystal oscillator (OCXO), continuous operation stabilizes the precision of operation, so we recommend turning this ON. OFF The POWER button turns the crystal oscillator (OCXO) on/off with the unit. ON This turns the power for the crystal oscillator (OCXO) on regardless of the POWER button setting. This shortens the amount of time until the oscillator stabilizes after the unit is turned on. oo When the unit power is off, clock is not output even though the crystal oscillator (OCXO) is operating. oo If the crystal oscillator (OCXO) is always on, the unit will consume considerably more power when the unit is off. Preheating setting

Use to turn ON/OFF preheating when the unit is off.

Due to the nature of the crystal oscillator (OCXO), continuous
operation stabilizes the precision of operation, so we recommend
turning this ON.
OFF
The POWER button turns the crystal oscillator (OCXO) on/off with
the unit.
ON
This turns the power for the crystal oscillator (OCXO) on regardless
of the POWER button setting. This shortens the amount of time
until the oscillator stabilizes after the unit is turned on.
