157 Market and other apps Reading a story 1. From the Home screen, tap > News. 2. On the All items screen, tap a story that you want to read. While reading the story, you can: Tap To Star the story as a favorite. Like Like the story. Read full article Go to the web page where the story is published. Go to the next or previous story in the channel. Share a link to the story from the available options. Leave a comment. Tag the story. You can select from a list of categories or create a new tag. Changing update schedule and content settings While on the News app, press the following: > Settings (or More > Settings), and then tap any of Accounts & sync Manage sync options and general News settings. Update when opened Update the content of the channels you've subscribed to every time you open the News app. Update schedule Choose a time interval when the channels you've subscribed to are updated. Select Manual to refresh the content only when you like. News content Choose how to read news stories by default: whether as a summary or as a full web page article. Mobile view If you've selected to view the news content as a web page article, choose to display web page articles optimized for mobile viewing. About the News widget Use the News widget to read snippets of stories that you've subscribed to right from your Home screen.

Changing update schedule and content settings
While on the News app, press

), and then tap any of
the following:
Accounts & sync
Manage sync options and general News settings.
Update when

Update the content of the channels you’ve subscribed to every
time you open the News app.
Update schedule
Choose a time interval when the channels you’ve subscribed to
are updated. Select

News content
