6 Basic operations 6.1 Power on Pressing and holding the key'power on/off' may power on the phone. It will automatically search the network if the RUIM card and the phone have no password protection. After the phone is registered in CDMA network, signal will be displayed at the top left corner of the screen. The phone is now in the standby state and you can make or answer a call. Your phone remains in a searching state if it fails to find the available network system. If the screen displays 'No RUIM Card' after it is power on, please power off the phone by pressing and holding the key' power on/off' and check whether your RUIM card is properly installed. If a password or PIN code (if with RUIM card) for the phone is required after it is switched on, please input the correct one, and '*' will be displayed on the screen as the content during the entry, then press the right soft key for confirmation. After unlocked, the phone will display the signal strength. Please contact your network provider if you do not know the PIN code. 6.2 Power off 14

after it is power on, please power off the phone by
