Securing the rack to the floor The following illustration indicates where to drill the holes to secure the rack to the floor. The distances are measured from the holes on the tie-downs. Have your building structural engineer drill the holes. After your holes have been drilled, insert a bolt with a washer into each hole to secure the rack to the floor. 1200 mm Full Frame Rack Tie-down Kit The HP 10000 G2 Series Rack 1200mm Full Frame Pack tie-down kit is designed for greater stability in seismic environments. This tie-down kit is for Rack SKUs AF092A and AF094A only. Required tools The following tools are required for installation: • Ratchet with sockets • Adjustable wrench 1200 mm full frame rack tie-down kit contents Item Front tie-down bracket Rear tie-down bracket M8 x 20-mm bolt M8 x 20-mm bolt M8 flat washer Quantity 1 1 12 12 12 This kit might contain extra hardware for your convenience.
