IPv6 Management Features IP Preserve for IPv6 The show snmpv3 targetaddress command displays the configuration (including the IPv4 or IPv6 address) of the SNMPv3 management stations to which notification messages are sent. "show snmpv3 targetaddress" Command Output with IPv6 Address IP Preserve for IPv6 IPv6 supports the IP Preserve feature, which allows you to copy a configuration file from a TFTP server to multiple switches without overwriting the IPv6 address and subnet mask on VLAN 1 (default VLAN) in each switch, and the Gateway IPv6 address assigned to the switch. To configure IP Preserve, enter the ip preserve statement at the end of the configuration file that will be downloaded from a TFTP server. (Note that you do not invoke IP Preserve by entering a command from the CLI). 5-23
