4. Rotate the front of the laser/scanner assembly down (callout 1), and then slide it toward the right (callout 2). Lower the left corner, and then rotate the left corner out of the product (callout 3). Reinstallation tip When the scanner is reinstalled, make sure that the tab on the front of the laser/scanner is inserted in the alignment hole in the product chassis. Pull the laser/scanner assembly out of the product to remove it. Reinstallation tip When the scanner is removed, locate the alignment tab (callout 1) on the front of the laser/scanner.
