Webcam Description Webcam (includes cable) Spare part numbers 783117-001 Before removing the webcam: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base (see Connecting the tablet to the keyboard base on page 28). 5. Remove the rear cover (see Rear cover on page 29). 6. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 35). 7. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 38). Remove the webcam: 1. Disconnect the webcam cable from the system board (1). 2. Lift the tape from atop the webcam (2). 3. Remove the webcam cable from its routing path in the tablet (3). 4. Remove the webcam and cable from the tablet (4).
