HP Tamper Lock HP Tamper Lock offers an extra level of business protection by notifying you when you computer has been tampered with or the bottom cover has been removed. HP Tamper Lock uses tamper detection sensors located on the bottom cover and internal storage. If a sensor is triggered, you must enter an admin password to unlock the computer. This feature is disabled by default. Configuration settings are available in Computer Setup (BIOS). NOTE: HP Tamper Lock must be configured at the factory and requires that you set an admin password before use. IMPORTANT: Be sure to disable tamper detection before sending the computer in for repair. For more information about HP Tamper Lock, see www.hp.com. HP Tamper Lock 17
