Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 34). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 46). 4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 63). Remove the fingerprint reader assembly: 1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures the fingerprint reader bracket to the computer. 2. Lift the bracket from the fingerprint reader assembly (2). 3. Use a tool to pry the fingerprint reader board free from the computer (3), and then remove the assembly from the computer (4).
