Removal and Replacement Procedures 2. Turn the computer bottom side up with the front facing forward. 3. Remove the expansion cover as described in the Memory Expansion Board Section (Section 5.3). 4. Disconnect the modem cable from the modem board 1 (Figure 5-9). 5. Spread the retaining tabs 2 on each side of the modem board. The board releases and rests at an angle. 6. Remove the modem board by pulling it away from the socket at an angle 3. Figure 5-9. Disconnect the modem cable from the modem board
