Chapter 3 Opening and Closing the HP NetServer 1. Log off all users, and shut down the operating system according to your NOS instructions. WARNING The rack's anti-tip foot must be extended to prevent the rack from tipping over when you slide out the NetServer. 2. Power off the NetServer. When you power off the server, the yellow LED on the system board access panel goes out. This indicates that the access panel can be safely opened. 3. Opening and Closing the HP NetServer

Log off all users, and shut down the operating system according to your
NOS instructions.
WARNING
The rack’s anti-tip foot must be extended to prevent the rack
from tipping over when you slide out the NetServer.
2.
Power off the NetServer. When you power off the server, the yellow LED
on the system board access panel goes out. This indicates that the access
panel can be safely opened.
3.
Extend the anti-tip foot from the bottom of the rack. (See Figure 3-3.)

Open the bezel, and push inward on the left and right rack latches to
