Macintosh printing-system software The HP LaserJet M1005 MFP printing system for Macintosh is composed of the Printer Setup Utility (Mac OS X V10.3 and later) and HP-created printer dialog extension (PDE) files. The driver uses these files to determine the features and postscript commands that the device supports. The following components are installed: ● The HP LaserJet Installer for Mac OS X V10.3 and later ● LIBRARY/PRINTERS/PPDS/CONTENTS/RESOURCES/LANGUAGE.LPROJ (for Mac OS X) NOTE Installation CD version 1.0 does not support the Intel-based Macintosh operating system. Printing-system software on a CD is available from HP fulfillment centers. Web deployment is the preferred method for obtaining the latest software. The Web site offers an option for automatic e-mail notification about new software releases.
