Cartridge door, Remove the cartridge door

Cartridge door Before proceeding, remove the following components: ● Paper-delivery tray. See Paper-delivery tray (output bin extension) on page 21. ● Left cover. See Left cover on page 22. ● Right cover. See Right cover on page 25. ● Front cover. See Front cover on page 28. ● Scanner assembly. See Scanner assembly on page 30. Remove the cartridge door 1. Open the cartridge door. Carefully push up on the right corner of the door to release the right-side retainer. CAUTION: The retainer is still attached to the door. This step only releases the door-stop tab of the retainer. Reinstallation tip When the door is reinstalled, you must push down on the retainer to reengage the door-stop tab, or the cartridge door cannot close.
