Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 36), and then remove the following components: a. Hinge covers (see Hinge covers on page 45). b. System support brackets (see System support brackets on page 46). c. Fans (see Fans on page 49). d. Heat sink (see Heat sink on page 53). Disconnect the following cables from the system board: 1.
