If you replace the module and then receive a warning message, remove the module to restore device functionality, and then contact technical support. Before removing the WLAN module, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 36). 2. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 36). 3. Disconnect the cable from the battery (see Battery on page 38). Remove the WLAN module: 1. Carefully disconnect the two antenna cables from the module (1). 2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (2), and then remove the WLAN module from the socket (3).
