Invalid-signature violations indicate that a packet with an invalid signature has been received from the primary fabric configuration server (FCS). When the primary FCS downloads a new configuration to the other switches in the fabric, the packet is signed using the private key of the primary FCS. The receiving switch has to verify this signature with the public key of the primary FCS switch. If verification fails, it rejects the packet.
