Table 7 iSCSI Interface Information Field Description Device Name The device name lists all of the devices for the specific Library. There will be an entry for the Medium Changer, and for each of the drives configured. Port This defines the port to which each media changer or drive is connected. Device Serial Number This is a unique serial number for the device. It is generated automatically by the HP StoreOnce Backup system and cannot be edited. World Wide Node Name This is provided when the device is created. iSCSI Target Name This is generated automatically by the HP StoreOnce Backup system for iSCSI devices. iSCSI Alias This is generated automatically by the HP StoreOnce Backup system for iSCSI devices. iSCSI Authentication tab If required, this tab should be used to configure iSCSI CHAP authentication. Click Edit and provide the required details. Table 8 iSCSI Authentication Information Field Description Require initiator to logon Check this box if you require the initiator to logon. You must also provide the Initiator CHAP user name and secret. Initiator CHAP User Name This should be the same CHAP user name that you configure for the target on the iSCSI Initiator. (On the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, this is the User Name as it is configured on the Targets tab in the Log On to Target Advanced Settings.) Initiator CHAP Secret This should be the same CHAP secret that you configure for the target on the iSCSI Initiator. (On the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, this is the Target Secret as it is configured on the Targets tab in the Log On to Target Advanced Settings.) Target required to logon Check this box if you require mutual CHAP authentication, which means that the target must to initiator also log on to the initiator. You must also provide the target CHAP user name and secret. On the iSCSI Initiator you must also make sure that mutual authentication is enabled. (On the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, make sure Perform mutual authentication is checked on the Targets tab in the Log On to Target Advanced Settings.) Target CHAP User Name This may be any meaningful CHAP user name. It does not need to match any information on the iSCSI Initiator. Target CHAP Secret This should be the same CHAP Secret that you configure for the target on the iSCSI Initiator. (On the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, this is the Secret as it is configured from the General tab.) Active Connections tab This shows the Session information of any active connections to the library; it displays information about open iSCSI sessions. All details are generated automatically and cannot be edited. If a device is showing as not connected, this indicates that the iSCSI Initiator on the host has not logged on. Log on using the iSCSI Initiator and set the device as a Persistent Target for that host. This ensures that it will automatically log on again whenever the host is rebooted. Libraries page 21

Description
Field
Check this box if you require the initiator to logon. You must also provide the Initiator CHAP
user name and secret.
Require initiator to logon
This should be the same CHAP user name that you configure for the target on the iSCSI
Initiator. (On the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, this is the User Name as it is configured on the
Targets tab in the Log On to Target Advanced Settings.)
Initiator CHAP User
Name
This should be the same CHAP secret that you configure for the target on the iSCSI Initiator.
(On the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, this is the Target Secret as it is configured on the Targets
tab in the Log On to Target Advanced Settings.)
Initiator CHAP Secret
Check this box if you require mutual CHAP authentication, which means that the target must
also log on to the initiator. You must also provide the target CHAP user name and secret.
Target required to logon
to initiator
On the iSCSI Initiator you must also make sure that mutual authentication is enabled. (On
the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, make sure
Perform mutual authentication
is checked on the
Targets tab in the Log On to Target Advanced Settings.)
This may be any meaningful CHAP user name. It does not need to match any information
on the iSCSI Initiator.
Target CHAP User Name
This should be the same CHAP Secret that you configure for the target on the iSCSI Initiator.
(On the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, this is the Secret as it is configured from the General tab.)

Active Connections tab
This shows the Session information of any active connections to the library; it displays information
about open iSCSI sessions. All details are generated automatically and cannot be edited.
If a device is showing as not connected, this indicates that the iSCSI Initiator on the host has not
logged on. Log on using the iSCSI Initiator and set the device as a Persistent Target for that host.
This ensures that it will automatically log on again whenever the host is rebooted.
