Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 26). 2. Remove the computer feet (see Computer feet on page 26). 3. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 28). 4. Disconnect the battery (see Battery on page 34). Remove the speakers: 1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1). 2. Release the speaker cables from the routing clips (2) built into the battery. 3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 3.3 screws (3) that secure the speakers to the bottom cover. Component replacement procedures 31
