Adaptec SCSI RAID Software Reference Guide Table 13-7 Error Codes (Continued) Code 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 100 Error/Information Number of drives do not match the array type. Unable to initialize drive. Error occurred while creating array. Too many spare drives assigned. Insufficient memory to run the application. Incorrect controller number. Controller not responding. Build/Verify/Clear failed. You ran ACU and made changes. Meaning The number of drives you selected is invalid for the type of array specified. The ACU was unable to initialize one or more disk drives. The ACU encountered an error creating a array. You attempted to assign more than the maximum number of spare drives allowed for the specified array. There is not enough memory to run the ACU. The controller number you specified is invalid or out-of-range. The controller has stopped responding to the ACU. The build/verify or clear running on one or more arrays has failed. The ACU exited with no errors (success) and a reboot is required. Playback and Record Notes When using ACU in playback or record mode, note the following: ■ When recording an array, the ACU does not create a Wait keyword within an array's definition block in a script file. When playing back any script file generated from the ACU record option, be aware that the ACU will use the default setting Wait=Yes when creating an array unless you first edit the script file and include a Wait=No line in the array's definition block. ■ When recording a RAID 10 (or RAID 50), the ACU cannot map spare drives assigned to the individual mirror sets (or individual RAID 5s in the case of RAID 50) to the HotspareDrives list in the resultant script file. The script file syntax allows only a single list of spare drives to be assigned to any given array. 13-26
