Removal and Replacement Procedures- Slim Tower (ST) Chassis 7.18 Chassis Fan 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 7.1). 2. Remove the computer cover (Section 7.5). 3. Remove the fan shroud (Section 7.12). 4. Disconnect the chassis fan cable from the system board. 5. Remove the four screws that secure the fan to the chassis, then remove the fan from the chassis. To install the chassis fan, reverse the removal procedure. Be sure to orient the air flow into the unit. The molded grille on the chassis fan should face the inside of the chassis. Removal and Replacement Procedures— Slim Tower (ST) Chassis
7.18 Chassis Fan
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (
