Remote Serial Port Control: Configuring settings for RS-485 ports. Remote Video Output Control: Sending remote button control signal. Two-Way Audio: Realizing two-way radio between the remote client and the DVR. Remote Alarm Control: Remotely arming (notify alarm and exception message to the remote client) and controlling the alarm output. Remote Advanced Operation: Remotely operating HDD management upgrading system firmware, clearing I/O alarm output. Remote Shutdown/Reboot: Remotely shutting down or rebooting the DVR. Camera Configuration: Local Video Export: Locally exporting recorded files of the selected camera (s). Local Playback: Locally playing back recorded files of the selected camera (s). Local PTZ Control: Locally controlling PTZ movement of the selected camera (s). Local Manual Operation: Local manual operation of the selected camera (s). Remote Live View: Remotely viewing live video of the selected camera (s). Remote Playback: Remotely playing back recorded files of the selected camera (s). Remote PTZ Control: Remotely controlling PTZ movement of the selected camera (s). Remote Manual Operation: Remotely manual operation of the selected camera (s). 4. Click the Apply button to save the parameters. Note: If you forget the password of your DVR, contact your supplier with the serial number of your DVR to obtain a secure code to reset your DVR. Note: User settings only appear on the list of System Configuration when login with Administrator accounts. Deleting a User To delete a user from the DVR: 1. Enter the User menu, shown in Figure 90 by going to Menu > System Configuration > User. 2. Select a user and click to delete. 3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion of user or click No to cancel. Editing a User To edit a user: 1. Enter the User menu, shown in Figure 90 by going to Menu > System Configuration > User. 2. Select a user and click to edit user. 3. Edit user information including user name, password, level and MAC address. 4. Click the OK button to save and exit. Note: User password can be both numbers and characters. You can click the button password editable fields to enter characters. on the 88
