LEVEL METER Shows the input level of each audio channel during recording and the recorded levels during playback. However, when a tape on which normal (linear) sound was recorded is played back, the "L" and "R" indications disappear from the display. 19. CHANNEL INDICATOR Normally shows the channel number. "L" lights when you select the LINE position by pressing the AVX button or CHANNEL select button. LINE position is used to record or watch the program input at the VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN. 20.
