Is the program timer set correctly? Is the POWER switch set to OFF? Is the record safety tab missing? Is the record safety tab missing? Is the TV channel selector on the proper channel? Is the TV fine tuning set correctly? Is the TV set to the proper channel? Is the TRACKING adjusted correctly? Is connection correct? --- SOLUTION Connect power cord to AC outlet. Set the program timer correctly. Set the POWER switch to OFF. Place cellophone tape over missing safety tab? Place cellophone tape over missing safety tab. On playback, the TV channel selector should be on channel 3 or 4 Fine tune your TV. Set the correct channel, CH3 or 4 (for your video channel.) Press either TRACKING control button ( or ) for best picture. Connect correctly. First press the TV button and then press the button, which corresponds to the TV function you want. Push the reset switch using a toothpick, etc. The display will be reset. Then set the information again. 81
