6.6 Making a Call Making an External Call You can dial numbers with up to 32 digits. If the number has over 10 digits, the LCD automatically switches to a smaller font in order to accommodate the whole number. You can view the number you are dialing and modify it when necessary before dialing. To make an external call by dialing numbers, do as follows: Step 1 Enter a phone number in standby mode. Check the number on the LCD. Step 2 If you make a mistake in entering the number, delete it by using the right soft key . Step 3 When the number is correctly entered, press to dial it out. Your handset allows you to make a call from the call log. To make an external call from the call log, do as follows: Step 1 In standby mode, press to display the call record. Step 2 Press or repeatedly to select the number you want to call, and then press to dial the number out. Step 3 To end the call, press . Making an Internal Call If you register more than one handset with the host, you can have a conversation between two handset holders. Step 1 Pick up the handset, and then press . The LCD then shows "X""\(X is the handset number). Step 2 Press the number of the handset you want to call. The called handset then starts to ring. Step 3 The called party can press to answer the call. Step 4 To end the call, press .
