After you install or remove the SIM card, you have to restart your tablet for your operation to take effect. Your tablet can detect the SIM card status, and the SIM card will not be damaged. However, to avoid damaging the SIM card slot, do not install or remove the SIM card too often. 11.6 Why can't I power on my new tablet? When you receive your tablet, its battery power may be depleted. Charge your tablet for a while before attempting to power it on.
