External options Some examples of the external options that you can connect to the server include SCSI drives and storage enclosures, printers, modems, and other serial and parallel devices. To attach an external option: 1. Power-off the server and all attached devices. 2. Follow the instructions that come with the option and the information in this section to connect it to the server.
