Table 6 describes the function of each switch on the switch block. Table 6. Switches 1-8 Switch Default value number 7 to 8 Off 6 Off Switch description Reserved. Power-on password override. Changing the position of this switch bypasses the power-on password check if the switch setting has been changed since the server was last powered on. You do not need to move the switch back to the default position after the password is overridden. Changing the position of this switch does not affect the administrator password check if an administrator password is set. 1 to 5 Off See "Power-on password" on page 16 for additional information about the power-on password. Reserved. The following illustration shows the location of the flash ROM page-swap jumper (J50) on the system board. When this jumper is moved to the non-default position, it recovers the server BIOS code (see "Recovering the BIOS code" on page 39). The default position is pins 1 and 2.
